can you tell we are sisters?

well, actually not today, it happened on June 11th.  one of my amazing sisters got married! 
and we actually got to get togever for a little over a week.



it was a fabulous time to spend with family.  a beautiful background of Huntington Beach, CA. (it was a cloudy day and the clouds parted just before the ceremony) she's a lovely bride. her new hubby's kids were part of the ceremony. his youngest son was the best man. and his daughter, the flower/bubble girl.(the location didn't allow litter of any kind, so no flower petals were dropped) his other son, the ring bear :). oh. and our littlest sis got to be the bouquet.  (literally, she put tons of flowers in her hair on the back of her head to make herself look like the bouquet)

I am so happy for her.  she's got an instant new family. it's still hard for me to think of her as being married. but I am so glad she is.  for the last 5 years it has been me and my oldest sister as the ones who were married out of the siblings in my family, now the number has doubled; first with my brother getting married (happened in feb. this year) and now my sweet sis. and both of them were quick. it's really cool. and btw, my little sis has reassured me it won't be any time soon for her. so this is probably the end of surprise engagements and marriages in this family this year.... probably. :)
