and what an awesome five year old he is going to be. of course. ;) four years was amazing and so now the next addition of year will have more awesome adventures ensue.

that's a whole set of fingers on a hand. it's big stuff.
I have mixed feelings about this one. I just don't know how people do this thing; the whole getting older and having your kids get older thing. it's crazy.
this awesome boy is such a joy to have in our family. he is so helpful. he loves to do chores with me. he loves to help me make dinner. he loves to play games and rocks at video games. he loves to snuggle and gives THE greatest hugs ever. he is caring for his family and wants to do good things for us. he is so smart and has been reading books and things like crazy. (he finished the summer reading program goal of 5 hours in less than a week). he loves to learn and gets so excited for something new that he can do. the things he can do just amaze me.
we had an awesome starwars party to celebrate the big day. including watching episode IV. so great.
