I finished a 5k on October 27th. It was a costumed run. I was a fairy princess (with wings)

it was put on by our local rec center. I ran it with two of my friends from the area.

one friend (socks) finished a minute or so ahead of me (and she had a baby six months ago). the other friend (super tiara) finished in 38 minutes.which was totally amazing considering she hurt her shoulder a week before and was jogging/speed-walking the whole thing. It felt good to have done it. I want to do another one and see if I can get down closer to 30 min for the whole run.
